Refund policy

Scope

This policy applies to purchases made online through puliafico.art.

A consumer is a natural person who purchases for purposes unrelated to their business, commercial, craft or professional activity.

Right of withdrawal

For completed artworks already available in the online catalogue, consumers may communicate their decision to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery, without providing a reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must send a clear statement within the above period to puliafico.arte@gmail.com.

The message should preferably include:

• the purchaser’s full name;

• the order number;

• the title of the artwork;

• the date of delivery;

• an explicit statement of the decision to withdraw from the purchase.

Notification by email is sufficient. Sending a registered letter is not required.

Return instructions

After receiving the withdrawal request, the return address and instructions will be provided to the purchaser.

The artwork must be returned without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after the withdrawal decision has been communicated.

The direct cost of returning the artwork is borne by the purchaser. Due to the nature, value and dimensions of the artworks, the use of a professional courier and a tracked and insured shipping service is strongly recommended.

For large-format artworks, return costs may be significant and will depend on the dimensions, weight, destination, packaging and courier. An estimate may be requested before purchasing by contacting puliafico.arte@gmail.com.

Condition of the returned artwork

The artwork must be returned with its certificate of authenticity and any other items supplied with the order.

The original packaging should be reused whenever it remains available and suitable. Alternatively, professional packaging providing an equivalent level of protection must be used.

The absence of the original packaging does not automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal. However, the purchaser may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the artwork’s nature, characteristics and condition.

Refund

The refund includes the price paid for the artwork and, where applicable, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase.

Any additional cost resulting from the purchaser’s choice of a delivery method more expensive than the standard option will not be refunded.

The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed, without additional fees for the purchaser.

The refund will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notification of the withdrawal. The refund may be withheld until the artwork has been received or the purchaser provides evidence that it has been returned, whichever occurs first.

Damaged artwork or incorrect order

If the artwork arrives damaged during transport or does not correspond to the item ordered, the purchaser should promptly contact puliafico.arte@gmail.com.

The message should include photographs of the external packaging, internal protective materials, the artwork and the damage. All packaging should be retained until the review has been completed.

If the artwork was damaged during transport or an incorrect item was delivered, an appropriate solution will be offered and the related return costs will not be charged to the purchaser, without prejudice to any rights provided by applicable law.

Commissioned artworks

The right of withdrawal does not apply to artworks created specifically at the customer’s request according to individual and clearly personalised instructions, when this exclusion has been communicated before the order is completed.

The fact that an artwork is original, unique or handmade does not by itself exclude the right of withdrawal when the artwork already existed and was available in the catalogue at the time of purchase.
